San Diego Fighters Slated for Title Bout October 25th

Henderson, NV—Two well-known Southern California fighters will battle for the vacant IFBA Jr. Flyweight title on October 25, announced Judy Kulis, IFBA president. Veteran Sindy Amador from Riverside, CA will challenge Amaris Quintana of La Mesa, CA for the 108 pound title. The two boxers will meet half way at Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula in a battle for a world title on local turf.

This will be the first 10 round title fight for both women. Quintana lost her only fight to Amador in a six round bout in May of 2012 and is looking for her comeback by going the distance. Amador too, is seeking to avenge her first loss, in July to former IFBA world champion Jolene Blackshear. The fight is being promoted by Roy Englebrecht Promotions and is the second IFBA title bout Roy Englebrecht will promote this year.
